I made this for my Solo's birthday yesterday. The dogs loved it. I have to tell you if you leave off the cottage cheese "frosting" it is pretty tasty for humans too!!!
Doggy Birthday Cake Naturally sweet, colorful and flavorful, this cake is simple and easy to make. Great for Fall. 1 cup flour 1 t baking solda ¼ cup peanut butter ¼ cup vegetable oil 1 cup shredded carrots 1 t vanilla 1/3 cup honey 1 egg Mix flour and baking soda. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 8” round cake pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let cool. Puree cottage cheese in blender for icing. Decorate with more peanut butter and carrots or cream cheese. Mom makes it in mini muffin tins |

That actually sounds pretty yummy- without the frosting of course...
But to a dog- that's the bestest frosting in the world! No gourmet icing needed! How did Solo enjoy his b-day cake? Do you have pictures? Jamie Forum Moderator |
