A good friend of mine from college suffers from severe chronic pelvic pain, and sent an email to me letting me know about a 20/20 special that will air this Friday at 10 pm on ABC. I'll copy her email here:
I wanted to post this here in case any of you are interested. While it doesn't relate to Migraine disease, hopefully it will bring a little more attention to the world of chronic pain. Both, I think... my memory from when I lived on the east coast is that 20/20 comes on at 10 pm, and I just checked our listings here and it looks like it'll be on at 10 pm here, too. Though it may be at 9 pm Central Time, since a lot of tv there is broadcast earlier. I'll definitely check it out. The more coverage of invisible illnesses the better! 20/20 is usually pretty reliable for presenting correct information in a manner that's not over the heads of most of their viewers, IIRC.
