Migraine

Yippee! This is going to be a fun weekend here in warm north cackolacky.

i'm already sweating and my poor kitties are looking at me like "Mom, what gives?"

Luckily, we DO have 24hr maintainance here... but with the weather changing, me overheating, and wearing extra "clothing" in the forms of a splint and sling, my head is starting to ask if it can get into the act.

The good news is that it's an exterior problem- the compressor downstairs is kaput.... which means that i can take something and sleep- not have to worry about having to deal with maintaince issues.

yeargh.

oh the joy!!!

This is the one time to be thankful to be in an apartment though....and not a homeowner who would have to go out and buy a new one, remove the old one, lug the new one in, install it......

I hope they move quick...

Do you have ceiling fans too? At least that would help to move the air...oh and in a splint - ugh!!! That's like me last summer, in a sling and swoth I think it was called, no A/C - in July/Aug....I was gonna die!!!!

Jaime- As someone who is extremely hot natured, I really feel for your situation. I'm from Atlanta originally, so I know it can get really humid in the southeast. I hope you have some fans to help get you through the weekend- let us know how you're doing, okay?

i was wrong.

it was something downstairs AND something upstairs.

i'm in some arm pain and seem to have avoided the headpain so far.

This is fun (not)

i want to relax.

we do have a big ceiling fan in the living room- if the a/c doesn't come on, i'm sleeping on the floor with the cats w/the living room fan on...

As soon as we spot them, we will be sending over a herd o' those big, buff guys with the big palm leaves on a stick to wave and cool you off in the meantime.

Whew!

Finally finished, and the a/c is purring. My cats are all hiding from the scary sounds.

I still would love that herd of fanning lackeys though, so- if you find them, it's all still good!

So glad it was a pretty quick fix! I can't sleep when I'm that hot. Ick!! You and I are sharing the weather once again! I can't believe our AC was on already.
