It's very difficult to read this. My father had esophageal cancer that resolved with treatment, but it was too late and the cancer had already spread elsewhere.

I remember several times he'd try to get up and he'd fall down, couldn't control it and he'd bust himself someplace badly.

It was hard to see, he was 6'5" and over 200 lbs, and I'd never seen him less than strong, ever. I had to take care of him when my mother was working, and I had to go with him to chemo. It was funny, though, I went to help him drive if he was too sick to drive himself home but as a teenager I was so spacey that I think he was afraid to let me behind the wheel! So no matter how sick he was, he still drove. Those visits always broke my heart because he would never allow anyone to go to the treatments with him--I was always left behind in the waiting room when I wanted to go with him.

Cancer does so much to a family in such a short time. My heart and prayers go out to you, that these things will resolve as God sees fit and that it will be peaceful for everyone involved.

You're all so kind. We feel your prayers and good thoughts.

I just talked to my Mom but only for a sec. She was feeding Daddy his lunch since both of his arms are busted and he can't really use them very well. She said he's been hallucinating all morning, talking to unseen people, rearranging unseen things, putting the bedsheets in his mouth. I'll call her back.

I'll do my best to keep you all updated. My blog will have updates too.

Again, thank you all more than I can say. Rough days ahead.

~S

I went to MW blog and it appears they are trying to prepare to bring her dad home with hospice care. She did not give a specific date, but equipment was being ordered.

MW, know you are in my heart and prayers. Angel Group Hug

I cannot express how much I love every one of you...

Daddy did come home last night.

Blog has better updates. I'm just not up to more than reading right now.

I've got a Meniere's attack, a Migraine, and my BPPV is stirred up. I'm just trying to still right now.

Thank you all so much. I'll repay you in the next life if I cannot in this one, I'll make God see to it. Group Hug
