I had Eric Clapton playing in the delivery room when my first son was born. He is now an avid guitar player, at 8 years old, and loves classic rock. Not that it has anything to with his love of music. I just thought of it. I had music for the other deliveries as well.

I understand the booster seat requests from the back. Frequent requests in our van are for In Between the Lions and the Curious George soundtrack (Jack Johnson & friends).

Oops. I lost my post. Oh, well.

I have very eclectic tastes, but they do not include rap or heavy metal.

Duran Duran is still my ultimate favorite band, after all these years. Tears for Fears, Melissa Etheridge, A-ha, and Crowded House get played a lot. Fleetwood Mac is big. The Eagles. Enya. Suzy Bogguss. Simon and Garfunkel. Sarah McLachlan. Enya. Johnny Cash. The Beatles. Roy Orbison. Coldplay. Tons and tons of movie scores. Tons and tons of other things I forget. Big Grin

My big bad 16 year old son who listens to alot of strange stuff just put Disney tunes from all of his favorite Disney movies (Lion King, Aladian, etc) on his iPod. I think it's a hoot to have him cruising in his hot car with the tee tops off and Disney blaring from the stereo.

I love instrumental music, especially piano. My favorite is David Benoit. He's the guy who composed and plays all the Charlie Brown cartoon music. I also love Danny Wright. Good stuff.

I enjoy listening to smooth jazz too. I love Chris Botti, David Sanborn, and Dave Koz.

As far as rock, I love Steely Dan, Chicago, and Tower of Power. I guess that means I like fusion type music too.

This is a fun thread.

How did I miss this one? This is great!

I'm the oddball out here. I love heavy metal. I know, not the best for a migraine, right? My favs are:

Disturbed
Metallica
Ozzy
Dio
Yngwie Malmsteen
Avenged Sevenfold

On the lighter side, I love 80's music (that bubble gum pop still gets me smiling and tapping along); City Of Angels Soundtrack too, love that movie!

And, during the holidays Bing is a must!
