A no doubt well intentioned member of the Crafting with Pain forum on Ravelry posted a link to this website. I know you'll see immediately why I was upset that even one patient has seemingly been taken in by this doctor's promises.
I honestly don't know anything more about him, his clinic or his program. I've not encountered him before. I don't know if he is simply ignorant or worse, but this has all the hallmarks of a scam. The worst part (to me) is that some of what he says is actually right. If only he chose not to package it up under the guise of a cure that he can't possibly hope to deliver. http://www.migraine-headaches-information.com/ Diana It isn't the things that happen to us in our lives that cause us to suffer, it's how we relate to the things that happen to us that causes us to suffer. - Pema Chödrön Visit me at Somebody Heal Me - http://somebodyhealme.dianalee.net Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/somebodyhealme |

I feel like I've run across the "Women's Health Institute of Texas" before, but I can't remember where.
I would like to see this guy explain why/how men suffer from Migraines, since Migraines are "caused" by sex hormones in "all" women. And, gee, for some reason, these websites look awfully familiar: http://www.pmscure.com http://www.1-menopause.com http://www.1-vitamind.com Looks like this guy has a "cure" for everything. http://www.migraine-headaches-information.com/blog/ -MJ my blog: http://rhymeswithmigraine.blogspot.com "What will you do, if it does not turn out how you expect?" heeheehee...
I thought this was interesting. It's from his main webpage:
And this also from his main page...
Sounds like another management plan to me, his emphasis being on hormonally-triggered migraines. Not gonna spend a dime on his books even though...
Free wouldn't be enough of a value for me, I'm afraid. As long as there are attacks to be managed, migraine is neither cured nor eliminated. basilar-type migraine, MAV, BPPV, migraine with and without aura, cluster headaches, but no tension headaches! W00t! |
