I went to my new doctor last week and one of the things that he suggested I try is CoQ10. I bought some yesterday and took the first one today. About 1.5 hours later I started to get a migraine. Could this be related or is it just a coicidence? I am not sure if I should take it again tomorrow and I cannot call the doctor until Moday.

If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.

Thanks!

Michelle

It could be that the CoQ10 had nothing at all to do with the migraine, and was just triggered off of something else. Since you just started the CoQ10, it really hasn't had a chance to kick in and start working as a preventative yet. It generally takes several weeks for any med to start working at a therapeutic level. There's really no way to definitively determine whether a single dose of anything triggered you. Definitely call your doctor Monday and ask, though.

I gave up on CoQ10 because I couldn't find any without gelatin, which could have MSG in it, and I'm very sensitive to MSG. Maybe that could be it for you as well?
