Hi to all
Some of you may be aware of my problems with black lights. The other day, I went in a public washroom and they had a black light. I doubt I've ever been so sick. I asked around and found the names of some places that use black lights, so I wrote a letter and brought it to them. The first place I went to said " yes, we used to have them, but a client came in once and had a stroke due to migraine, right in our bathroom, scared the crap out of us, so we removed the lights and have gotten each of our other branches to follow suit"
wow! I'm impressed another migraineur beat me to the punch lol. The other place I went to said " we used to have them, but too many people were complaining that it gave them migraines, so we removed them" Music to my ears. This is a victory, though im not the one who started it :-)
If people speak up, there will be change, theres the proof right there!

Wow that is fantastic and I have to admit you have come upon a trigger that I've never heard of - and now you've heard of two more!

Good for you for being so proactive.

My company allowed me to work from home because of the florescent lighting in the building. I would walk in to the office and hear that "hum" and within minutes feel sick. Whenever I am in a doctors office - I have to wear sunglasses!

Never heard of black lights before - will have to check that one out!

Thanks for posting!
Keep the fight going!
