Has anyone heard of Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha? I was in the hospital a few years ago, the Nuerologist did a spinal tap and told me I have Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha. At the time I was in the hospital withdrawing from Methadone treatment, so I was pretty out of it. Too out of it to ask questions about what this is, and if it has any bearing on the migraines I have. I can't find much info about this. If anyone knows about it, would you please fill me in.
Thanks! Tammy Jo |

I don't know much (well, anything) about it, but perhaps you could call your doc and ask about it? Hopefully someone there can point you in the right direction.

Hey Tammy Jo
MJ is right. Your best bet is to get your spinal tap results and go over them with your doctor. Tumor Necrosis Factor or TNF, is a cytokine involved in the inflammatory process. Cytokines are chemical substances which deliver messages between cells in the body. |
