Hey all. I just got Sol to bed after taking two ativan to calm her nerves. She has oral surgery tomorrow which is truly a blessing because she has been in tooth pain and migraine hell for two weeks now.

Her BIG surgery is Aug. 10th and we are hanging in trying to not get overly nervous about it. If she feels up to it this weekend we will go visit our older sons so that we can be together as a family (Sol, me, da twins, and our teenagers) before her brain surgery. She is really looking forward to this weekend so I'm praying all goes well tomorrow.

Any hugs that can be thrown my wife's way would sure be appreciated. Also, know that even though we may not post that much right now we are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Peace,

Dave

Gosh, Dave,... that's just about the easiest request for me to respond to.

GOBS and Gobs and trucks full of hugs for Sol, and another armada of ships full of hugs for the rest of your family.

Group Hug Group Hug

Oh, and we're just getting warmed up here. By the 10th, we'll have figured out how to send brigades of huggers to give hugs and good vibes for y'all.

Hope the oral surgery goes well. I know first hand how much mouth issues can add to the pile o' things that make migraines go absolutely bonkers! Hope Sol feels better after that is over!

In spirit, we'll all be gathered around Sol to hug her through both surgeries. Many prayers will go up, too.

Hugs and prayers for all of you!

ThanxFor all the well wishes and hugs sent our way. It is much appreciated. Sol came out of surgery just fine but she is very sore. Turns out the bacterial infection was so deep that it also ate its way into sinus cavitity.

They cleand it all out and removed a piece of nerve that was left in her last rootcanal and filled the space with medicine. She will have to have part 2 but that will have to wait until after her Brain surgery.

The Oral surgeon says the next few days may be quite painful but that by Saturday she should begin feeling better.

Tonight she is out cold on pain meds and ativan and will rest all day tomorrow. I will work from home most likely. Then Friday morning she will get back into her routine of having her kidney treatments m,w,f.

As of right now we still plan on going out of town for the weekend but we will have to play it by ear.

Anywys, thanks for all the love and support. We love you guys!

Peave and love,

Dave

Hey All.

As my wife's big surgery draws near I thought that I would post a brief update on how things are going.

We had a good weekend with all of our sons which did a lot to boost Sol's mood. Like most mothers she is happiest when all of our boys are together so it was a nice gift.

Today has been a rough one. After her kidney treatment this morning she spiked a high fever. We aren't sure why. She also has a sore throat so maybe its a virus but at any rate if she doesn't get it lowered soon there will be no brain surgery on Friday.

Her mom is keeping a close eye on her and if the fever creeps much higher they are going to admit her inorder to try and get a handle on it before Friday.

For now she is resting as much as she can. She sends her love and hugs out to all that need it. My wife loves this community and misses many of you. If she is feeling up to it I am sure she will post on here before her surgery.

Thats it for now.

Peace,

Dave

Big love and smooshes to you all, Dave. I'm sorry to hear Sol's not feeling well today. At least she's got you, her mom, and her docs looking out for her on this, and I hope she's better very soon.

Dave and Sol,
I'm glad that your family was able to spend time together this weekend. That's a blessing.

Of course, know that we're all thinking about you. Give each other big hugs from me.

I can't wait until we hear the update that the surgery has gone well, and everything's okay. Until then, we'll all be thinking about y'all and praying for the easiest time possible for your whole family.

Much love,

Jamie
