I have just raised my dosage of Topral XL (generic). On the new dose I went 2 days without any pain - YES!!!! For the last 2 days though my gut and lower back have felt sore. (They almost always feel bad together when anything is up.) I also seem to have A LOT of gas. Not sure if this is my body being wacko on its own or from food or something (it is good at doing that) or a side effect of the Topral. I tolerated the Topral very well at the lower dose - the few side effects I had wore off after about 2 weeks. I know Topral can affect the GI but as I was fine on the lower dose and did this dose for a few days before the discomfort cropped up not sure. If it is the Topral does this type of side effect go away in time?

Hi Solta, I've never tried Topral, but perhaps you should call your doctor or pharmacist to ask them about side effects. They should be able to help you.
