I was just reading the article on the GUT-Brain Connection and how in one study many participants had improvement in their migraines after taking two supplements developed by Foreverwell. I have never seen this article before, but am very interested in it's content.

My question is this: Has anyone on this site ever tried these two formulations being sold by Foreverwell "Migraine Prevention?" And, if yes, do you have any comments, advice, or thoughts about if it helped or didn't help you in your particular circumstance?

I am one of those people who feels strongly that my body gets "overburdened" by chemicals and toxins and that it just can't handle the overload on my liver, kidneys, etc. Since this product seems to be directed at people like me, I wanted to find out if anyone here has ever tried it and to what degree they thought it provided any relief or help.

Thanks so much.

I've never taken anything like this.

I can say, though, that I used to go to a naturopath a few years ago. One of her favorite theories is that pretty much everything is tied to the gut in some way or another. Even if an ick originates elsewhere (such as migraine being neurological), she's pretty sure that the gut plays an active role, too.

Hi Nancy,

I'm new to this forum and have had migraines for years. I have a science background and have done extensive research and haven't had success. While looking on the web for migraine info (which is when I found this site) I found a link to ForeverWell on MAGNUM. I have heard a lot about gut/brain connections in other disease (Celiac, and some say Autism) so I decided to try the ForeverWell supplements. I've been on them for about a month and have had great results so far (knock on wood). I used to have about 6-10 migraines a month, mostly menstrual (hormonal) or due to weather changes. I took Propranolol for a while, which worked, but it made me too tired all the time. I take Imitrex as a treatment if I do get one. I've only had one since a week after starting the supplements. Check with your doctor - I actually brought the supplements with me to my doctor. Even though they are all natural, check with your doctor for any potential reactions with other meds you are taking. And, good luck!
