Which is the better place to post questions? I'm seeing a lot of mostly newbies asking general questions about migraine disease on the SharePosts. I think they'd get better information here. To tell the truth, I often don't read to the end of those posts, because I like to let somebody else take the first comment.

I'd say questions are most definitely better asked in the forum. They're decidedly more visible here in the forum, as well.

Share Posts are more of a journal-type entry, I think, even though they've got the comment feature.

Gretchen and Droolie,

I agree that the forum is the better place to ask questions. Discussions are easier here, and more people see them.

Nancy and I try to greet all the newbies. We have a "standard" welcome that we add to so we can try to give them some answers. That standard welcome also tells them about the forum.

I agree as well that the Forum is a better place to ask question's. When I first going to the SharePost that is what I thought where question's should go and may get more responses but then realize that I didn't. But I notice too that from the SharePost it is hard to get to the Forum, and I don't know how to.

Joyce,

When you're reading SharePosts, look in the left column of the page for the orange box marked "Manage." There's a link to the forum in that box.

As a recent join-ee, I'll tell you what I experienced...

I found the shareposts area from the about.com site. Teri, when you responded to my sharepost, that's how I found the forum. I don't think I would have found it any other way...

Either way, glad I landed here. FYI
