Kelly, First of all, no sob story at all. Just the absolute truth. And, the feelings are 100% mutual. The guilt of not working becomes overwhelming at times. As does the house not being tidy unless the family does it while I lie in bed. Same with missing friends and kid's events, helping with homework, cooking dinner...it is a terrrible cycle.

I try to have the theory that all they can do is say no but when it takes months on end just to find out....uuuugggghhhh. Either tell me no or send me something saying "we are working on your case".

I admit, I have cried at times because I want to work and feel useless at times. I have always been able to work up until recently. I want to contribute more than just a prescence in our home; a paycheck means a lot. Not just financially of course, but, emotionally too. It gives a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Yeah, I hate the why aren't you working question. Especially when the reply back from them is, oh, a headache? Hmmmm. You just want to scream sometimes!

Hey, if you have a party house, maybe we can all join in LOL

Come on over! Wink
I think in another post you said you wished that there was a place where we could meet where we were all migraine/headache free and could exchange hugs and appreciation! I'm totally with you on that one! Well, if your wish came true, I could actually throw the party at my house b/c I'd feel up to having a party! Big Grin That would be awesome!

Well, I called disability again, I actually waited over a month to do it and my actual case worker was there (glad she is doing well).

She said my final med records from my new neuro just came in Tuesday and asked me to call her next Thursday if I hadn't heard anything yet.

Hey guys! Wow, first let me say when I pulled this post up my ticker said "13 days"....how cool would that be?

Anyway, I figured I would let you's know what is going on....I am in limbo but have called disability faithfully every week. My paperwork is in Philly and I should have an answer by the EOM

Fingers Crossed Keep me in your thoughts and prayers please!

Hey guys!! Can you say Merry Christmas? I got a call Friday from SSDI office and they said I was approved by the Board. <big huge sigh of relief>.

I was down with a migraine and couldn't celebrate properly but boy was I excited to hear the news!

I have no idea how much or when it starts but just knowing that some assistance is coming is a Godsend for sure!
