Teri has already posted about this but I'm going to lend an impassioned plea here. If you are already on the ADHA mailing list, bless you. If you are not, please read on!
As Migraineurs we feel helpless so much of the time, yet we know that whatever we can do to help ourselves makes us feel better. We may not be able to make the Migraines go away, but we can feel more positive and powerful when we are in action. We can effect our mood, which actually effects our brain chemicals, and makes us better over all! No, Migraines are not "all in our heads," and neither is depression or anxiety, but we can make a difference for ourselves by taking positive action. Here is a ridiculously easy action to take. Easier than going to the next thread on the forum and posting a reply. Click here to sign up for the ADHA mailing list. Why? Because when the time comes to write our Senators and Congressional representatives to ask them to sign on to get more research dollars for Migraine and headache research, ADHA will email you. They will also give you forms to fill out to contact your representatives and make that part easy and quick as well. Please do this. Do it now. It will take less than 3 minutes.
