Well, I applied for disability on the 20th August, and received 1st payment this week....plus back pay!
My neuro told me that I should have no trouble getting it, and asked me to get my own doctor to fill in the forms, and then she checked them. Said she didn't have to add anything, but her name was on there if they wanted to contact her at all. I was told years ago to go for it, but never thought I had much of a chance... In Australia you have to be practically blind I was told. But the girl was lovely that I spoke to, and she more or less told me that I would hear good news withing a certain time. |
