Migraine

I am new to this site so Hi :-) I have been a migraine sufferer for over 12 years. For the past 2 years I have been seeing the same neurologist and have decided I am just not satisfied. Like most of you, I have been through my fair share of doctors. Trying to find one that will not only address my needs but be willing to listen to my ideas seems like it would be easy but we all know better.
Has anyone found a Dr in NC or the northern part of SC that they would recommend?

Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special?

I have a local neurologist I see and then I also see a Migraine Specialist from the list I gave you. I fly from Virginia to Texas to see him and it's worth every penny I spend. He also works with me over the phone and through email so I don't have to travel as often. He's been able to help reduce the severity and the length of my Migraines and right now we're working on the frequency. He's given me a big part of my life back.

I, Like LauraHost travel to Texas to see my migraine specialist. However, my local neuro is pretty good, and I'm now lucky to have someone on the ground here that my Migraine Specialist can communicate with to work on getting me further on my path to happy less- migraineness!
