Wow!

I just cannot get over the care Sarah is getting here in Dallas. This doctor is fantastic. I am so grateful we are here. Sarah's headache has finally come down from a 7 to a 4. She is thrilled. She told Dr. K today that she was set to stay until Friday if he would keep helping her. He said he would be glad to keep working with us. Our only setbacks are in the evening. I think exhaustion takes over and this causes her to get upset over small things. I am hoping the new meds will help her sleep tonight and she will be encouraged tomorrow like she was this morning.

Teri: Thanks for the advice about the IV. Jane put her in a different room today and it had a window. This really seemed to help and Jane took her time putting in the IV and Sarah said she really appreciated that. I will mention Sarah's fears to Jane if we have more difficulties but we may be past that.

For any of you wondering if it is worth a trip to Dallas, I would tell you, make the appointment!

We wil talk to everyone tomorrow. I find myself anxious to get to the computer to update everyone.

Hi Melanie

I'm so glad that you like the doctor so much. That makes all the difference in the world.

I'm so happy that the pain is getting better each day. That's great news. Big Grin

I hope the rest of the week goes well for you both. Keep us updated. We love to hear the good news.

Melanie,

That's wonderful. Do her new meds include Zanaflex? I know Dr. K. often suggests it at night for better sleep.

I know that IV room. It's a bit crowded, but sitting in that recliner facing the window is bound to have helped. Jane is a real sweetheart.

Hope you and Sarah are resting well.

with a hug,
