My brother was burned out of his home last November and is still having financial problems as a result. He and his longtime girl friend have a new apartment finally but he's having trouble coming up with this month's rent because Social Security screwed up the change of address. Plus his girlfriend was mugged and then yesterday sprained her ankle.
It's alway something, isn't it? Anyway, pray that my brother won't end up homeless again. He slept in his car for weeks after the fire. It takes so little to slip down the economic rungs these days. There's something not right with our country, IMHO.

LauraSue. (I'm 55, have had severe migraines for over 4 years due to menopause, plus I have fibromyalgia. I take Imitrex plus Anaprox as an abortive and am working with my migraine specialist to find a preventive. I keep a detailed migraine diary and have made significant lifestyle changes to reduce my risk of migraines.)
Have y'all tried Robinhoodfund.com? He can tell his story there, and people vote (and can even donate through paypal) on the most worthy wish. The top vote-getter actually does get money. Not a whole lot, I don't think, but any bit helps.
