Migraine

Hi everyone, My family and I could use some thoughts and prayers right now. My grandfather passed away this evening. It wasnt really sudden, in a way it was a blessing. My grandpa hasnt been himself for several years due to repeated strokes. He never wanted to live that way, needing so much help. His mind wasnt always there either.

he had gotten a lung infection about 3 weeks ago, he was healing well and was seeming to be able to head back home. Then he took a turn for the worse yesterday. Everything started shutting down. I got the call today about it, and was going to head down to see him tomorrow.(its about a 3 hour drive)Even if I had left today, I wouldnt have made it in time.

Anyway, Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers, esp. my grandma. She will take this hard. She thought he would get better again like he always has in the past.(he has been through a broken hip as well as a broken collarbone, and numerous infections in the last few years)

Thank you yall It means so much to me to know yall are here for me.
I will be driving my mom down there tomorrow. she lives about an hour from me, though its on the way to my grandparents.

Thank you all for your support you have no idea how much its appreciated.

it Was a good visit yesterday. we went through a ton of old photos and things finding pictures and memorbilea for Grandpas celebration of life. It will be on Saturday. We prefer to celebrate his life rather than mourn a funeral if that makes sense. We have such a large loving family. I am so grateful for everyone. I am headed back down to there friday afternoon to help set everything up.
