Help! My migraine came back today really bad. I feel awful. I've taken one triptan, but can't take another until after 10 pm (24 hours since last one yesterday). My head hurts really bad. Pray for me, for patience to wait this one out. Only an hour and 15 minutes til I can take that next triptan. Yes, I've got my ice pack and my bunny slippers, the lights are off and the computer screen is dimmed. All I need are prayers for the next hour and 15 min!!

Thanks,
Laura

OK, Laura, you're not alone! There are several of us on the board right now, and I'm sure that the others will read this asap, as I did. I promise that you will be in my prayers for the next couple of hours while you wait to take that tripan and until it kicks in. You're doing everything that you know to do, does soft music help you? How about deep breathing?

From what I remember about your other posts, you are making a lot of progress - you used to "deny" the migraine and not take the med early enough, right? Well, now you're right on track with taking the triptan at the right time!

I'll be right here, keeping you in thoughts and in prayer - you'll get through it, hon!

Big Hugs, Liz

Are you feeling better? I hope so.

Thank you everybody.

The migraine eased up later that night and then came back again the next day. Very frustrating. Today I'm okay so far with just an hour and a half til bedtime, so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Liz, thanks for remembering about my denial problem. Sometimes it's also about thinking I have it beat only to have a recurrence. So I'm doing better on that this episode also. My DH has been helping. He's starting to be able to tell when I really have a migraine and when I'm feeling better, just by the way I sound!!
