Migraine

If you pray, please pray for my friend Tatti. She overdosed this morning and is in the hospital. She has a husband and two children ages 6 and 10. Her 6 year old daughter found her. I will try to update later.

Sending good vibes that way for your friend and her family.

I'm praying for Tatti and her family... And for you, too, Jaimee! My goodness--What a terrible thing for a 6-year-old to experience.

Thank you for your prayers. I'm still not 100% certain how she's doing. The hospital staff sent her husband home because she was unresponsive. They had sedated and intubated her. They said that after the charcoal absorbs what's left in her stomach they can see how much of the medicine ended up in her system. She took over 100 pills of Lamictal and Depakote before 9am and didn't go to the hospital until around 2pm. Hopefully I will hear something this morning. I know the husband is planning to go today.

Adding my fervent prayers as well. It is so upsetting when someone does something drastic. And so unnecessary. Keeping my fingers crossed.

As of this morning she was still unresponsive, though I'm not sure how much of that is coming off the sedation or still from the OD. I will know better this evening when the husband comes to pick up the kids. They are really broken up.

I'll be praying for you, your friend, and her family. I hope that she becomes responsive soon.

She is still unresponsive for the most part. She did open her eyes and her dh said he thinks she recognized him. They are not able to take her off the respirator because when she starts regaining conciousness she is fighting it, biting on it and such... They said it may take a few days. They don't think there's damage to her heart, but still not sure of the liver. The kids seemed ok today, a little quieter than usual, but ok. I'm trying to talk the dh into a longer term care for her. We'll see. Thanks for the prayers.

Jamiee-how terrible! I will keep you all in our prayers. I can't imagine a child finding a parent like that. I hope everyone recovers OK.
