This is something I wouldn't normally do, but I find myself concerned about an aqaintence.

The woman in question is a member of our church. She's loud, crude, a show off and likes to be the center of attention. I don't like her. Never the less, something happened this weekend that has her and her family on my mind.

She was driving in the parking lot of a local mall, with her 11 year old daughter, and she had what police are calling a seizure. She crashed into a covered bus stop where two teens were waiting for the bus - one died and the other was injured.

As a mom, I can't imagine how she's feeling about being responsible for a young person's death. I think it would kill me.

Her name is Cathy, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

What a terrible tragedy for herself, her daughter that was in the car with her, and the 2 teens and their families. They will be in my prayers.

Thanks everyone.

I don't know any more than I did when I posted. The family is keeping to themselves and I can understand that. The newspaper did say there will be no criminal charges and that's good news.
