Migraine

Hello everyone- my Father-in-law died suddenly yesterday- he went to bed smoking, and burned to death in his bed. My husband is beside himself with grief. This was his last surviving family member. His brother died at 33 in 1995, and his Mother died of throat cancer less than 2 years ago (after taking care of her for a year).
His Dad had a very long history of alcoholism and smoke abuse- we still haven't got the medical examiner's report back yet. My husband got a call from the property manager at the condo where his Dad was living, and when my husband showed up, there was news crews everywhere, police, firemen, and they were bringing his Dad's body out on the stretcher. Since his body was burned beyond recognition, they were asking my husband all kinds of questions about fingerprints, dental records, etc.
All the smoke triggered a migraine for me later. Just pray for us at this time and pray that I would not have migraines so that I can be there for my husband- we have no family to help us through this- mine lives out of state, and his Dad has only one brother who lives way out in California, and isn't in the best of health himself. His Dad was 79. Thanks.

I am so very sorry for both you and your husband. You will be in my prayers to help you through this. I know how badly you want to be strong for your DH. Thank goodness you are through the worst with your surgery.

What an unbelievably tragic thing to happen!! It is so hard to lose someone you love, but I know that the fact that this was his last family member and the way he died has to be just devastating for your husband.

I'm so sorry y'all are having to walk through this. I will certainly be praying for you and your husband. He is very fortunate to have you there supporting and loving him!!

Thank you everyone for your prayers- it's been a difficult time, and I appreciate all of your hugs and support. We're dealing with all of the fire damage to the condo, what we're going to do with the property, etc.- it's overwhelming. Thanks for your continued prayers.
