Migraine

I was going to put this in the vent, gripes but you know what i need most of all, prayer and support. Just got back from the endodontist and as I suspected I need a root canal. Scheduled for tuesday morning this week. And then next tuesday, 14th, I have a hysteroscopy with a hydrotherm ablation scheduled. This is under general anesthesia and makes me nervous.

I so need both of these procedures done but I am overwhelemed with it all. Tired of hurting in general. So please pray for peace for me, knowing as always this is in God's hands. And for my docs too. Also wisdom as I make pain medication choices through this.

Migraine wise, I had 11 in March so MD wants to up my newest preventative, Vivactil. I am having a horrible time with dry mouth/nose/throat with this med. So not thrilled we need to increase it but trying to be patient to see if this one might be the one that actually helps.

Just found this now. I hope your root canal went okay yesterday. I know what you mean about discerning about pain meds.

I will be praying for you that God will give you guidance and bring you peace about the upcoming procedure. I know how frustrating it is to be continually hurting. I feel for you.

thank you Droolie, Rebecca and Kelly. Root Canal went fairly well, first 5-6 hrs afterwards were the worst. And needed minimal pain meds which was an answered prayer. Unfortunately has 3 migraines the next four days but only one severe and finally feeling better today. Got to Easter service and to see my mom, hour's drive.

So tomorrow is DH's day off of work and boys are home for spring break so praying for a peaceful, painfree day with family before Tuesday's procedure.

I'm glad to hear the root canal went okay. yay for minimally needed pain meds. Sorry to hear about the Migraines though.

post op reporting: Thank you so much for your prayers on Tuesday. The surgery went as well as it could according to my gyne and now time will tell. Everyone was so wonderful at my hospital. Felt very weak the rest of Tuesday and rested yesterday. Off to baseball tonight with my son. Thanks again for being there!
