haven't been on in a while but just wanted to share my experience with you all. i get migraines on the right side of my head. back in november i has the (...plz forgive my spelling) ganglian speno nerve block done. they went up the right side of my nose with several q-tips dipped in lidocane. it was extremely uncomfortable and i gagged and choked the whole time.
but this time my dr. recommended that i get it done at a surgery center. i was put out for about 10 minutes. they tilted my bed back so my head was below my feet. they used cocaine and lidocaine this time. i woke up and my throat hurt a little but that was about it. so much better being asleep than awake. my migraines both times have lessened in pain but the frequency is the same. just thought id share. Thanks for sharing! My mom tried this procedure and had results that are similar to what you've described. Personally, I have had a cervical epidural (it's in the neck, not what you might be thinking) for some disk troubles in my neck and it helped with headaches a lot too! Good luck
