Well got the blocks done today. I would love to know what was going on in the room behind me. All those noises and etc made me curious. I have no clue how many i actually got. Only about 5 really hurt enough to make me jump. Came home and then totally crashed. Fell asleep for a few hours. I hurt a tad. I also have two perty lumps on my forehead that might turn a perty shade of purple. I see Dr Dean again in June. Asked if he would manage my medications... he is willing to work with the preventative long as I leave the controlled substances with my primary. That is fine. that is what I was doing with my headache only specialist. He has great med knowledge and no bedside skill though. He also doesn't try other things like the blocks. So... maybe having both work as a team would work - if he will do that. Headache has been coming and going since the procedure. Which might be a good thing. Maybe this month will be more than 10 headache free days. That would rock! Already down on my pain meds since starting a higher dose of zanaflex. Only bad thing there is it is now causing hunger, sugar cravings, and associated weight gain.

So there we are.... will see what happens

day after injections...

had a heck of a time falling asleep last night due to the pain... but finally did. Have a pretty bruise from one of them on my forehead. Today I am stiff but no headache on waking Smiler granted the left occipital area is starting to be ouchy so will have to see what it turns into. Started Baclofen last night to see if it is better than the zanaflex

Good Luck No headache is huge! I'm glad you got that, and I hope those "twinges" amount to doodly-squat!

Well... no headache since the injections but have been feeling off since them. I have been tired and mildly dizzy since I got the injections. Spoke to the on call doc yesterday who wasn't overly concerned and then to my doc today. My temp has been 100.4 and 100.2 last 2 days. Doc called some augmentin in... will see how that goes
