This won't work for full scale vomiting, but if you just get mild uncomfortable queasiness like me...
My home remedy, which works like a charm for me, is one tablet of meclizine (the generic active ingredient in Dramamine II NonDrowsy formula, available without a prescription but you have to ask the pharmacist for it). Plus 6 oz of ginger ale and four mildly sweet little Bahlsen butter cookies (not rich at all, more like sweetened crackers). Plus sitting still for 15 minutes. LauraSue. (I'm 55, have had severe migraines for over 4 years due to menopause, plus I have fibromyalgia. I take Imitrex plus Anaprox as an abortive and am working with my migraine specialist to find a preventive. I keep a detailed migraine diary and have made significant lifestyle changes to reduce my risk of migraines.) |

The Bahlsen butter cookies sound like they're similar to the digestive cookies they sell in Europe (hard to find here in the States) that I've found are also really good for nausea.

Yes, MJ, that's exactly what they are. They're actually made in Germany. They sell them in the supermarket here. I'll try to find a picture of them.
Here's the link. LauraSue. (I'm 55, have had severe migraines for over 4 years due to menopause, plus I have fibromyalgia. Yes!! Those are what I'm talking about. I used to eat those all the time when I was in Europe - love them! Tasty and great for nausea! Thanks for passing this on, LauraSue.
