Migraine

My sleep dr. ask me to try to get off Elavil to see if the perspiration and thirstiness I am plagued with would go away. I got off all my preventive ( only over the counter ) last year keeping Elavil. I did not have more M and found that I was having a good year about 20 days of M better than the 45 average in the last years, still better than 90 days of before too. So. he got me off slowly from 25 Mg to now 10 but in the last week I had 4 days of M. not bad pain but all the other happenings with M. I hope this is just a bad weather due one and it will get to normal. If not I will have to go back to Elavil I still have 7 days to go with one every second days . For the sweating and thirst I did got off all my meds 10 years ago when that problem started to no avail. I did try everything under the sun ( no, the shade) to rid of that problem it is not menopause, but something else, maybe fibro, thyro, adrenal, I have some problems with all those, I might be stuck with the sweating till I die.
Any suggestions?

Have you ever been on Topamax? One of the possible side effects is decreased sweating.

No, I never tried Topamax, my migraines are not too many enough for that now. Mind you years ago ( a century ago ) I would have take it.
I think this bad begining of the month is due to weather, even my cat is feeling pain in his joints, he's 18 a bit older than me in cat's years. I feel bad to complain when I should not, as I said my migraines are few and apart now. If I need more preventive I will go back to CoQ it did help me a lot then.
