Hey Ya'll
Have a question. Has anyone noticed any change in your vision while taking topamax? I know I am at the magical age of 40 when you have to have the good ol bifocals but since I started taking topamax my eyes seem to have gotten worse.
Let me hear from you.
Thanks!!

Elkmom, changes in your vision are a potentially serious side effect of Topamax.

If you have had changes in your vision since starting Topamax, please call your doctor TOMORROW! Both your eye doctor, and the doctor who prescribed the Topamax, please.

You only have one set of eyes. Please take care of them.

See this link:

Precautions and Side Effects

Keep us posted.

Absolutely call your doctor first thing in the morning and report this. There are some potentially serious and permanent visual potential side effects of Topamax. You can find more info in our Tomamax Info Section.

Please keep us posted?

The generally long periods of time between my Migraines are the result of working with a Migraine specialist to refine my preventive regimen. You can see my current regimen HERE.
