Migraine

I'm a newbie, first time posting, so forgive me if this is not the right section to post. I've been on Topamax for nearly 1 year now for migraine prevention, and have had moderately good success. It is the only medication I take. Just recently have been prescribed Wellbutrin XL 300 mg to help with depression, as well as aid in smoking cessation.

My dosing directions say to take TWICE DAILY, but my understanding of the XL formulation was that it was a ONCE daily formula. However, I see that some of you take it twice a day as well. Just wondering, is this fairly common?

Having said that, I take Wellbutrin XL twice a day as prescribed by my doctor.

I was taking Wellbutrin SR twice a day. When I switched to Wellbutrin XR, I continued with the twice-a-day dosing.

My doctor told me to call him if I started feeling weird after I started the XL. I didn't have any problem.

Did you know that that Wellbutrin SR is available in generic? For me, it's a lower co-pay, and I haven't noticed any difference in performance.
