Migraine

My doctor just prescibed me Inderal to go along with my Topomax, and to lessen my dosage of Topomax, I am a little worried to take this with the Topomax, has anyone else done this, or at least taken the Inderal before? I read the side effects, and I didn't really like what I saw on there. The doctor wouldn't up my dosage on the Topomax, and I am taking 150mg right now, which I didn't think that that was to terribly much, I have read on here where some people were taking 200, and that to me is a lot, it is helping me, but I am still getting them. I just want them to go away =( Please help

Many Migraineurs take a few medications to prevent Migraines. Adding Inderal may be a combination that reduces the frequency and severity of your Migraine attacks. Giving your body enough time to adjust to it is very important and can take up to three months.

One thing to keep in mind is that side effects are potential. They don't happen to everyone all the time. If they did, the FDA would never be able to approve new medications. We do have information on both Topamax and Inderal you can find HERE and HERE.

I'm glad that Nancy responded to your post. My doctor recently started me on topamax along with the inderal he has had me on for seven weeks.
