It is called DLPA and you can get it at the health food store? I was reading up on it and it is supposed to help you with pain by helping you make endorphines? Anyone have any other natural remedies they have tried from the health store? Thanks in advance. Wink

Well I went ahead and bought some at the healthy food and vitamin store, and took 1000mg. It did subdue my little headache I had (I wanted to give it a go BEFORE I got a migraine). Mostly, though, it made me want to chill out, lol. So, if you are having a stressful day give it a go-don't know yet if it will work on my migraines though. I am looking into ordering kratom online, another all natural pain killer. Has anyone tried anything besides prescriptions that actually work?

Please be very careful of such products and discuss them with your doctor before taking them.

Remember that even "natural" substances such as these were mankind's first drugs, and they DO act as drugs in our systems. They have potential side effects, potential interactions with other medications and supplements, and some shouldn't be taken by people with some medical conditions.

I use some supplements myself, but would never take them without talking with my doctor first.
