Migraine

The news here last night talked of a new treatment for migraines called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or TMS.

It talks about using it at the time of Aura & that studies have been promising for Migraines sufferers.

Just wondering if anyone has tried it or has heard about it?

If I'm not mistaken, Teri and Eileen heard news about this at the conference they just attended in Boston over the last few days. I'm sure they'll report the findings as soon as they can.

I don't always suffer from Aura so not sure if this will work for me, but I hope that it helps many others.

I heard about another on the radio today called "Intranasal Carbon Dioxide spray"

The conference was so intense and busy that I simply couldn't get started on the articles while we were there, which was what I had wanted to do.

On the TMS, hang on. I'm doing an article on it based on the session at the conference plus an interview with one of the researchers.

I also heard a session on the CO2 spray at a different conference earlier in the month. This is so very new that there's not much info available yet. As far as I know, the treatment isn't readily available yet. Will keep you posted as I learn more.

Awwwwwwwwww, you're welcome, Jewels, and thank you. I could do a better job if there were more hours in a day or if I didn't need to sleep. LOL!

Thanks, Lisa! I have an interview scheduled with one of the researchers who presented at the conference. As soon as I can add what I need from the interview, we'll have an article!
