Well, after much labor and many hours of work (took me from 1:30PM this afternoon until now to finally get it published), the first article in my series of four on crystals and experimenting with them for migraine relief is up on my blog. I'm just...disabled...is all. Seems like it takes me forever to write, to get things done.

This first article has a lot of explanation of the spiritual gymnastics I went through to get to the point where I was ready to work with crystals. The next three will have more information about crystals themselves.

The pics were all taken with my trusty Razr cell phone. I have no photo editing software.

Please let me know your thoughts. I crave review of all sorts.

I can tell you this: I took my last Topamax on Monday and am now ramping up on Keppra. I am grateful to God that I've got these crystals. They're certainly making this preventative switch process more comfortable.

I love it! It really does reflect some of the soul searching I did when a friend of mine who is a holistic healer and Reike master suggested crystals to me.

Interestingly, a friend gifted me with a beautiful chaplet that has a medal of St. Teresa and a chunk of raw amethyst.

Thanks for sharing!

The generally long periods of time between my Migraines are the result of working with a Migraine specialist to refine my preventive regimen. You can see my current regimen HERE.

Thanks! I learned more about my Catholic faith in a half-hour of reading and surfing than I did my entire sophomore year in Catholic high school. This was the early 1970s. The Second Vatican Council had thrown out the Baltimore Catechism, and nothing had been adopted to replace it. They didn't know what to teach us.

Looking forward to your future articles. Let us know when they're posted.

This is a little off-topic, MW, but let me comment on the cause of your "disability," since I suspect I'm going through something similar. I think it's called "grief." And it's nothing to be ashamed of; it proceeds from love. Nonetheless, I know the frustration of taking all day to accomplish something that would previously have taken a short time. Hang in there, we will both make it through in due time.

What's OPM?

Oh, the Office of Personnel Management?

No, I suspect you are disabled due to factors other than "just" grief. Sorry if I sounded too definite.

Amethyst must be your stone then! Cool

Thank you so much for your encouragement. You know you're in the right field when your words sprout life everywhere.

I am SO IN LOVE with clear quartz crystal. It's the right stone for me. I'm embarrassed to say how many pieces I've got now. Embarrassed

The one in the pic has inclusions that fluoresce too. Can't wait to see what kind of pic I can get of THAT. Eeker

The online version of the Catechism is SO CONVENIENT. What a great feature to have the search engine too.

Thanks for reading.
