Migraine

Has anybody tried this? I've been on it for almost two months now & haven't had a headache or other migraine symptoms for the past three-four weeks. I don't know why it's working, but I'm not complaining!

And please don't worry - I'm not trying to sell it to anybody. I signed on with this forum way before I started taking the PXP. I'm just really curious if anyone else on the forum has used it & what their results were - good OR bad.

I've never taken it, and I've never heard of it before. I'm really glad for you that it seems to be helping in your case, though.

It's fine to share your experiences with a med or supplement. That's how we learn about potential treatments sometimes. We'll hear of someone else having good results with something, and then we can bring up the subject of trying it with our doctors.

I would take everybody else's experiences, if any, with a grain of salt, though. We're all so very different, with totally different metabolisms, so meds affect us all in countless, individual ways. It doesn't do much good to compare meds, even though sharing about them can be very valuable.

I haven't heard of Alfa PXP forte either but I'm so glad it's working well for you! How did you hear of it?

I heard about PXP from a lady on a different forum. I'd been conversing with her before she tried it, so it felt like I knew her when she was still really miserable with migraine symptoms. She tried the PXP based on a friend's suggestion, but not really expecting it to work. After ~3 months, she posted on the other forum that she was finally symptom free & incredibly relieved & happy.

I would never had tried it based simply on a .com site - I'm way to cynical for that Plus, I'd tried a dozen or so meds so far & couldn't handle the side effects. I was at the 'willing to try anything' point, I guess.

My neurologist said yesterday that 1) he doesn't really understand why it would work for migraines, but did acknowledge it could help other things listed in the PXP brochure I showed him - as an antioxidant ... but 2) if it works, keep taking it!

Sometimes the best things are found by happy little accidents. I'll root and hope that it keeps on working better and better for you.

Your post caught my eye and I wanted to tell you about a similar product I used for my migraines which turned out to be a rip off. It was marketed by a company called Mannatech which is now listed on MLM Watch. The same kind of thing as Alfa PXP and a similar type of company. Be carefeul and don't spend tons of money on nothing like I did. You should check MLM watch to make sure you are safe. One thing I've learned is that if it sounds too good to be true, it is!

Thanks for the advice. I never would have tried PXP if I hadn't personally known another woman who'd had success with it. I'm pretty cynical usually & didn't expect PXP to help me in the beginning. (It doesn't even claim to be beneficial for migraines.) But I've been headache-free since around the end of March. I signed up to sell it so that I could get it cheaper. I have no intention of selling it to anybody though unless somebody approaches me - I'm not actively looking for 'customers' & never will. I hate 'selling' anything, so the MLM idea isn't much of a threat for me.

Bottom line: PXP has been working for me. I was wasting lots of money on prescription drugs that didn't help & actually made me feel worse with all the side effects.

We just have to be CAUTIOUSLY open-minded I suppose! There will always be people 'out there' ready to take advantage of suffering & try to make money from it.

I also took Alfa PXP after a friend used it for other serious health reasons. After a few months I was symptom free.

All I know is that it works for me and that's reason enough for me to take it.
