Hello to Everyone!

I wanted to add my two cent's worth about acupuncture. I was pregnant and having horrible migraines - vomiting, body tenderness, pounding head pain, sensitivity to light and sound. It got so bad that I had to have my husband drive me to my doctor's office to get IV compazine.

Well, it just so happened that this same doctor was trained in acupuncture. He said he wanted to try it on me, so we gave it a go. I had about 4-5 treatments over the course of about two months. I was just stunned and amazed at the results! I went for a complete year without a migraine! I didn' even have a hint of migraine for that entire year. It was a true godsend for me, especially since I was pregnant and had to be careful what I put into my body.

I say, if you haven't tried it - you should give it a shot. You may just find yourself in a good space - IE: migraine free for quite a long time!

Greetings!

I wanted to throw my two cent's into the ring about acupuncture. Several years ago, when I was pregnant with my son, I was having horrible migraines. I experienced body tenderness, vomiting, severe head pain and sensitivity to light and sound. It got so bad, one day, that my husband had to drive me to my doctor's office, where I got an IV of Compazine.

As it turned out, this same doctor was certified in acunpuncture and he told me he wanted to try it on me. I have to admit to being nervous about it, because of having needles stuck in me. We proceeded with the treatments, and they didn't hurt at all. The doctor just put needles in my head, hands and feet and let me lay there for about 20 minutes.

Lo and behold, after about five treatments over a two month period, my migraines disappeared! I went for an entire year without one single migraine! This was especially wonderful, since I was pregnant and didn't want to be putting a bunch of drugs into my system.

So, if you are thinking about acupuncture, but haven't given it a try - I strongly urge you to try it. It worked wonders for me, and it might do the same for you.

Hello to All,

WOOPS! I didn't think my first post went through, so I did a second one. Now, there are TWO posts from me, that basically say the same thing. I am SORRY!
