Migraine

Anyone else tried it?

There is no way I could be more tired of being a walking pharmacy than I am now. I am also a firm advocate of What Works.

I got Teri's book in the Amazon sale. I remembered checking it out of library long ago once I got into it. When I got to Chapter 15 Complimentary Therapies, I read her description of using amethyst for migraine in the section on Crystal Therapy.

I don't know how to use crystals for healing so I asked someone I know who has knowledge of this. He also knows me quite me quite well. He knows of using deep-colored amethyst for migraine too.

For me though he recommended that I start with clear quartz crystal.

I plan to do a blog column on crystals for migraine. If you would like to see your MMC handle in BRIGHT LIGHTS on my blog (with your permission), I'd love to relate your experiences with crystals and migraine, or crystals and health, or your opinions on crystals and healing.

Although I don't have any personal experience with crystal therapy, I have a friend who swears by it. She's even found crystals in the mountains while she was camping.

The two main stone I have with me on a daily basis are amethyst (healing, also my birthstone)and fluorite (keeps negativity away). Rose quartz is a powerful crystal dealing with heart issues. Opens our hearts up to both giving and receiving love. I also have one of these in the tool box, but always have the amethyst and green fluorite in my pocket or near me.

In fact, recently when my dear, dear friend Barb died last week in ME, I held them on the drive home. I wish I remembered to do that on the way there...

This is one of the very few things I haven't tried. I'll have to refresh my memory of that section of Teri's book and try it out. No harm in trying as far as I'm concerned!
