I scheduled an appointment with my PCP for Thursday to talk to her about getting referrals for acupuncture and biofeedback. I figure they are at least worth trying. I have both chronic daily headache and frequent (weekly) migraines, and I haven't found a treatment regimen yet that's working for me.

Anyone here have experience with either therapy? I'm not looking to replace any drugs or supplements I'm taking, just complement. I know we've got some threads here that relate to these, but working on the computer inevitably adds to my headaches/migraines, so I'm being lazy and posting instead. Razzer

Thanks in advance!

I underwent hypnosis for my migraines but unfortunately it didn't work for me. However, I am doing a kind of accupressure with my chiro and it is fantastic! I admit, it has not cured them but I haven't had an ER visit since!

I also learned deep breathing a long time ago, that helps during an attack. It helps me stay a bit calmer during the peak of the migraine.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, Laura, that does help. I don't expect anything to work magically and never have a migraine or headache again, I'm just trying to make the pain a little more bearable. Fingers Crossed
