Yesterday I was talking with a client who asked me how I found my new headache specialist as she was remarking on how much it has seemed to help! I told her about this forum, and she wanted to know how I had found it. I told her about picking up Teri's book in a local bookstore.

That book was the beginning of a journey for me - a journey that told me that I didn't have to be passive in my quest for treatment of migraines! It led me here where I could learn from and be supported by all the folks here! It led me to finding Dr. K.

More than anything it waws a journey that allowed me to see glimmers of hope. Teri, I know you have sacrificed a lot to do this forum and to write your book. I want to thank you for your willingness to be a source of information and support for so many people! It is truly among the top 20 things for which I am thankful in my life!!

I don't say that lightly as I have MANY things for which to be thankful.
But I had reached a point of despair and no hope when I picked up your book! There are probably a lot of people who would still be stuck in that spot if it hadn't been for the encouragemnt, information and freedom to "fire his sorry butt."

I am deeply thankful!!! As are my family and friends. So many people in my life know the names of you and others on this forum, Dr. K and Jane as if they were friends with whom I/they interact with on a daily basis! Smiler

Thank you for all you do!! Group Hug And thanks to all the moderators for all they do!!

Awwwwwwww, Cyn. You brought tears to my eyes with this one, sweetie.

You are very, very welcome.

It's such a joy to know that things are getting better for you and such an honor to know that my book and this community have been part of that. What you've told me here is that I'm achieving some of my goals, and that's always good to know.

Gandhi said something that I believe in so much -- "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." That's part of what I try to do. Of course, I want life to be easier for my grandchildren with Migraine disease than it has been for my generation.

Teri -

I feel sure your legacy in and out of the migraine world will be great!

I have a step niece who has migraines and I just hope and pray that her experience with migraines will be different than mine. I feel sure that it will!

Thanks again -

Cyn
