I called and made a dr appt. for monday am. I am going to give dr opportunity to rewrite rx's for me. It could be that the nurse is not communicating with dr.
I also called the co. corporate office and the lady there is going to call the pharmacy monday.
The pharmacy as of today is saying that they mailed the rx's back to me. Which I never got them.
Any tips on what to say to the dr if she does not want to write me new rx's?
I could go to another dr but that is such a pain. I would like to stay with her especially since I am going to be filing a disability claim in the near future.
Any tips will help.
Your book is fantastic. Thanks again for writing it

Bev,

Document all the calls to the mail order pharmacy, the company, etc. Take all of that with your to the doctor's office. She should be used to this kind of mess up. Having records of everything will help if she has any questions, and it may help if you keep having problems. If you have to call again, have your notes in front of you and ask to speak with a supervisor.

Good luck with all of this!

Thank you. I'm really glad you like the book.

Teri thanks. I did all of that and they still could not find the rx's. My dr. had no problem writing me the new rx's. It ultimatly was her nurse that had the problem.

I have found a web site that should interst you. It is www.fibroandfatigue.com I know you are very busy but could you go there and read alot then give me your oppinion.

My body has been falling apart for a few years. I have been tested for alot of the things these clinics test for. However no dr had enough knowledge or experience to treat me.

I want you and dragondrool to check this out because the site could be a very valuable resourse to alot of migrain suffers.

I am going to their portlad clinic on the 19th. When I called to make the appointment the gentelman spent 45 minutes on the phone with me answering my questions ect. He is even going to call me on the phone the day before and remind me what to do for tests. They are overnighting me-free of charge the 25 page questionerre that has to be filled out. They even have an 800 number anyone can call to get info. If these are good clinics, thousands can be helped and we can get the word out.

I will let you know how I do with them.

Bev,

I've heard of these centers before, but have not been impressed. The people I know who have been there said they're very, very expensive and didn't help them all that much.

Good luck!

Yes, I have heard the same. However this one is diffrent than just a pain managment clinic. Let me know after you check out the site. I'd really like your thoughts on this particular site. Thanks

Bev,

Still not impressed, especially in light of what former patients have said.
