Hey all!
Got a copy of my discharge notes posted to me in the mail... Finally I've got a "formal" diagnosis of hemi-pegic migraine... we finally know what on earth is going on!! and the neurology team is investigating the possibility of petit mal epilepsy (whatever that is) Had to post that on here... I'm so chuffed to finally know what is going on in my body... and now hopefully I can learn new ways of how to deal with it!! Thanks guys! for just being awesome!! Isn't it wonderful to finally have a diagnosis! Come join your fellow HM suffers in the Hemiplegic folder. We have a thread there called "Stop in - Introduce yourselves".
Let us know what they find out about the epilepsy (seizures). I too have seizures with my HM, but after all the testing they found mine was non-epileptic (yes!). Wishing you a pain-free day, Tonya |

Isn't it such a relief when you finally know that what it is that is going on with your body has a name!? I was so happy to finally have my diagnosis because that means finally medications and treatments that may help me! I am so happy you now know your diagnosis!
