I have had some serious symptoms in the last 2 weeks. I am seeing a new Nuerologist tomorrow and would like my little Fredricks to all be in a row. { Fredrick is my pet name for migraines.}
I need complete information on all my medications reported side affects. Preferrably on one or two web sites.Are the drug Manufacturers required to list ALL reported side affects online?
I do have one leavlet that comes with the triptan I take. However I take many more RX's that only come with limited information from the pharmacy.
If anyone can point me in the right direction it would make me leave you a sum in my will.
Is there anyplace you can go online and put in all medications you consume then get a print out of duplicate side affects?
One Dr. is out of town and the other is about to be fired as thay will not call me back.

Bev,

You know we have a lot of drug info right here on the site, just put what you take in the search box and see if we have the info.

It searches all of HealthCentral, so it's searching all the other sites on THCN as well.

If that does not give you what you want, try googling them. I find a lot of info that way.

I second the suggestion of Googling the drug names. You'll get sites like drugs.com, which have all the patient information up for most any drug you can think of.

I hope your appointment goes well!

Both drugs.com and rxlist.com are good sources for finding out side effects from meds. Both give you the option of the professional prescribing info, which is the full leaflet doctors get, listing all of the side effects experienced in the trials.

Sometimes, if you go to the actual website for the actual drug, you can access prescribing information. I've been to sites that have the contents of the whole leaflet that you can pull up, usually in a pdf file.

A second idea is to ask your pharmacist. I know that's not very practical for you right now, since your appointment is tomorrow, but it might be helpful in the future. Sometimes pharmacists will give you the leaflet itself from the full bottle for the asking, if they have one on hand, I believe.
