Hi friends!
Thank you to all of you who sent out prayers and hugs for me yesterday!!  They worked!! I made my trip (all alone), had a wonderful HA specialist visit, and now I'm back home! I'm a little tired (2 planes and 2 trains do that to me...) but feeling well!My new doctor is really great! It's wonderful to have a doctor actually listen to ALL of my concerns and address each one! He made some treatment changes and added some new rescue meds. AND he gave me another wonderful nerve block! (I'm a bit sore at the injection sites today, but my migraine is GONE!!!) OOH--and he gave me TONS of medication samples!!! (Anything that saves a little $$ is good for me!!  ) I felt so positive when I left the doctor's office yesterday! It's very nice to have a treatment team that is willing to individualize my care!Anyway, it was a GREAT trip! And it sure was easier, knowing I had all of you back here pulling for me!!   jenny |

I am so happy for you! And rock it out girl! Plane ride and train rides all alone? My axiety would have kicked into overdrive!! I get nervous taking the train into the city - and that's only an hour! LauraSue. (I'm 55, have had severe migraines for over 4 years due to menopause, plus I have fibromyalgia. I take Imitrex plus Anaprox as an abortive and am working with my migraine specialist to find a preventive. I keep a detailed migraine diary and have made significant lifestyle changes to reduce my risk of migraines.) |
