On Thursday, I kept feeling really "odd" at work - couldn't put my finger on what was wrong! I did the old body/soul scan - not dizzy, not light headed, not sad, not anxious, no nausea, no headache. . . What NO headache????
I started laughing outloud in my office and kept checking over and over again. . . do I really not have a migraine? Unbelievable! No headache for the first time in years - literally years! I picked up the phone and called all my friends and family just to let them know! It was like the excitement that accompanies a really exciting present that you've been waiting for so long! I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning! We have had thunderstorms moving in and out of Memphis - nope - no migraine! I've worked for three straight weeks without having to miss at all due to migraines - I'm torn between laughter and tears of joy! God is so good! As are each of you. . . and of course my amazing doctor! Hoping for a migraine free day for all of you! I have to say, sometimes it feels so not normal to have no pain, then to get excited about it. I do the same thing. It must be very common among those with cronic pain all the time....we are always waiting for the 'shoe to drop' as they say. I hope you enjoyed your head pain free day!
