The migraine gods have finally had mercy on me, for a few days at least! I've only had one day of migraine out of the past EIGHT!! That compares to 18 out of 30 days in November for example. So my two month siege of really bad migraines (after taking progesterone for a gyno problem) may finally be coming to an end.

They could go kerflooey again tomorrow, but I don't care -- I've had 7 out of the past 8 days migraine free. I'm so happy!! I feel so much better!! I actually left the house today and didn't get a migraine. I'm actually starting to get things done around the house. I'm actually calling my family again. I'm actually starting to schedule lunches with friends again. YAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!!!!!!

Droolie, lay one of them seven smiley posts on me, okay?!

Thank you everyone for being here and being such great support during this. Teri, thank you for creating this wonderful forum. And most of all, thank you, migraine gods, for finally having mercy on me!!!

Thanks everybody! I've now made it through another day, so it's 5 whole days since my last migraine. That's the best I've done in like 3 months at least. And that's only 1 day of migraine out of the past 9!! I'm holding my breath, it's too good to be true! I'm going to wake up and it'll all be a dream!

I'm having lunch with a friend tomorrow and I'm PMS this week, so we'll see if I survive that. But whatever happens, I've still had such a nice break from the beasties and I am so grateful.

LauraSue, this is totally off topic but I found it related in a very odd way. Blame the beast I got hit with last night.

Anyway, you mentioned having lunch and PMS today...well, both my boys work at a deli owned by all women called PMS = Perfectly Made Sandwiches...period. The kids wear shirts with the funniest sayings on them.

I hope you make it to a wonderful lunch today LauraSue

Hi Laura Sue -

I'm really happy for you, and inspired by how much you are getting out of the present moment - after all, the now is all we've got, really. I always wish for the ability to be fully content in the now, and stop worrying about what's going to happen next. You're doing it! And I have to believe that this makes a difference to our health as well.

LauraM - that PMS deli is so funny! Are you in Virginia Beach (guessing from your info at the bottom of the post)? I go there on business sometimes, so would love to check it out.

- Megan

Megan, I am in Virginia Beach as a matter of fact. Not sure how familiar you are with the area, but the deli is right outside of Oceana NAS; no worries about dealing with the beach traffic, ok, kinda sorta but not like going down to the ocean front.

What do you come here on business for, if you don't mind me asking of course.
