I believe in celebrating even the smallest victories. Last week I was having a migraine every day. No migraine today so since last Thursday I've only been getting them every other day!! Woo-hoo! That's a 50% decrease!!
It seems Dr. Green's approach of Frova twice a day as a short-term preventive to buy time til my hormones settle down might be working! LauraSue LauraSue. (I'm 55, have had severe migraines for over 4 years due to menopause, plus I have fibromyalgia. I take Imitrex plus Anaprox as an abortive and am working with my migraine specialist to find a preventive. I keep a detailed migraine diary and have made significant lifestyle changes to reduce my risk of migraines.) |

That sounds lovely! So many people seem to have such a good experience with Frova. If I could take something different right now I'd request it to try it myself as an abortive around that time of the month. Alas, I must wait a year...
I hope things work out even keel for you! |

Thanks, LauraM! I'm still doing every other day! Had one yesterday, didn't have one today. I did my total bed rest, dark room thing. I hardly ever get a migraine when I do that. But tomorrow I have to go out, which increases the chances. So we'll see. Thanks for asking, LauraSue LauraSue.
