Migraine

I know some of you have noticed that my turtle has been going back to the starting line a lot recently. Darn weather! But I did want you all to know that the length of time since the last migraine isn't the end of the story. I'd love to have a longer time between migraines, of course, and I'm sure I will someday.

In the meantime, though, I do know that my med changes are making a difference. The migraines are less severe, even if I wait longer than I should to treat them. It's more tempting to wait now, in fact, because it's so mild for an extended time that I scarcely notice it. And once I take my Axert, it works faster. The one thing I don't like is that they are coming in the morning more often, which has much more consequences for my work and other activities. But in general, I have less pain and less downtime.

Not all that I hoped for, and not where I want to be in the long run, but definite progress.

What great news!

I'm going through the same thing. I still get the migraine every three days or so, but the Zomig NS or Maxalt work better and I'm not out of commission for days on end. A major improvement. It is a definate improvement.

New meds - milder migraines, but that could be because they are now transformers....oh wait, transformed migraines.

I don't get as much pain, but sometimes they last longer....we are working on that one!

Yes! Today is Super Duper Tuesday!!!! DH and I are going to vote tonight! And - we are actually not a house divided, which is ironic because we usually have very different views on things. But we both like the same person this time around!

That is wonderful that you are getting faster relief! Even though your turtle is getting reset often, way to go on seeing this positive! Its like your turtle can see the finish line through the grass...or something like that. I'm trying to be clever, but it is not working!

I know this isn't all you want from your treatment regimen, but it sure is terrific progress! The faster the relief, the better!
