Although I am a bit "fuzzy" today, I am working on getting the Halloween decorations down and the fall decorations up. However, I am leaving the cobwebs to the kids because I think there are real spiders in there...eeeeewww!

I may even make it to the movies with DH, we couldn't Monday so I am hopeful we will today!

Thanks Eileen-We didn't make it to the movies but are planning a date night tomorrow Fingers Crossed Weather dependent.

But, he still cut out of work early and we just hung out with the kids. It was so nice to be functional with them. I cherish these moments so much. That is the good part of migraines; it has taught me to appreciate each pain free (or like today, almost pain free) days.

That's really true--having migraines teaches you to be thankful for each pain-free day.

Eva-You are probably going to laugh because it isn't all that much. Halloween and Christmas are biggies. But, I put acorn branches with fall colored leaves on my mantle. I hang up a fall welcome wreath and some Thanksgiving nick nacks around.

Next will be watching for the Yankee candle sale so I can get some pumpkin pie smell. Which of course will make me hungry!

Do you do anything?

Yes, but it looks like you've had one today. I'm so sorry. I hope you feel better soon (or maybe it's already over)?

I don't know if you have a Linen's n things there, but they have all their Yankee Candles 25% off, plus their circular usually has a 210% off coupon in it and I THINK they let you combine them.

Laura, that sounds very nice Thumbs Up
We won't do anything for now, we are already preparing for christmas, I just can't wait. I don't care about the gifts, I only care about the food and the whole feel around the christmas time, I love it.
But I love it when people do these special little things, like fall decorations.

Eva-Last year we kinda sorta procrastinated because we had just moved and our stuff was everywhere. I love to put up the decorations on our long turkey day holiday so hopefully we can this year.

DH mentioned he would like to get a head start on getting our Christmas stuff out of the shed and start shopping before the stores get mobbed.

But, out of everything, you are right, family is what makes it all worth while. The Christmas music in the car, even in the stores, the genuine happiness of mankind and okay, the food too!! That and Christmas shows. "A Christmas Story" is a must at our home. That and "Christmas Vacation". Oh, and all the oldies for kids. Like, Frosty and Rudolf etc. Hmmmm, can you say couch potato? Big Wink
