Having a nasty migraine now. I know what you're thinking... How is THAT success?

Well- it's the first one in a while that got this bad without me having to duck for a garbage can.

Now I'll call that a distinct success. Pain is one thing.. Pain and vomitting- causing more pain is a HUGE other story.

So- yes,... this is a success... albeit a minor one!

On edit: Uggh- weather moving in. Here goes the 3rd dose of frova.

I'm at home- due to a confluence of events- plumber, migraine, etc.... But SO glad i'm home- the pain had died down... but now it's kicking back in...

Thanks, Droolie! I do declare that by the end of that fifth 20 oz bottle of gatorade, I was on a rather large sugar high... and was flying to the bathroom... 100 oz of liquid is a lot... especially for me...

I think that if the partridge was in the fridge, however, it may have been consumed in my post- migraine starvation... I may have helped with saving a partridge from an untimely death...

Ok, I'm being totally silly now. But I can be. I'm alive, the concussion's breaking up, (I spent today resting like a good patient and took my last ounce of vacation time...)and the trigger point swelling's going down....

AND.....

I bought a new car! WooHOOOOO!!!

(more in the morning- I'm zonked. It's as DH would say "past my bedtime."- as i've been going to bed around 9pm lately.)

I do like to be original.... maybe it's a new migraine tonic.... Of course- trying to catch the partridge with a migraine may make things more challenging Big Grin

I know what you mean about success, even with pain. Frowner I usually say, "I'm ok," unless I'm having a migraine so bad that I'm vomiting and stuck in a dark room.

I hope you have success.

Also are you seeing a specialist in NC. I live just across the border in Tennessee (in the Bermuda triangle of migraine: Knoxville, Nashville, and Chattanooga), and if I don't have luck with my Nashville specialist, I'm heading out of state. NC and Georgia are closer for me than the next nearest TN specialist in Memphis.

Yeah- I'm seeing the specialist from Teri's list o' doctors. I haven't been there that many times, but from what I've seen, I'm very happy so far. The specialist has a great team in the office- and they've been able to help a considerable amount so far with the neck-triggered TTH turned- migraines... Nerve blocks, etc...
